We sell quality second hand books and bring people together who are interested in words and creativity. Come take a wander through our seven rooms of shelves, use the wifi for book research, and enjoy your find in our sunny garden.
Our bookstore is a work in progress. We want to restore it to sufficient commercial success to sustain its future in the Ponsonby community. Spread the word. Come find yourself a thing or two to read. Attend our events. Snag yourself some books selected for you or hire out the space. Keep up to date on how we are going with the wider project on the blog.

We accept good books of any genre by donation. Any quantity, from small to large, is welcome and can be dropped off at the store between 10am and 5pm Monday to Sunday. More …

We are not buying books at the moment. We do gratefully accept donations of all sorts dropped off at the store. If you are near the store and want to talk about a pickup, give us a ring.
