Writers Jordy Rosenberg and Pip Adam discuss the literatures of a resurgent Left in the shadow of the Far Right. What is it to write and read political fiction in our current moment?

@jordyrosenberg is the author of the novel Confessions of the Fox (One World/Random House, 2018) and Night Night Fawn, to be published by One World in March 2026. Rosenberg is also a scholar and Professor of Literature at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he teaches eighteenth-century literature and gender and sexuality studies. @pipadam is a novelist and makes the podcast Better off Read.
