We couldn’t have a story competition without a party!

Join us for Halloween at the bookstore on Saturday 29 October Come for the ghost hunt, stay for the creepy snacks, ghastly potions and scary story readings.

All of our winning stories will be read live on the day. Come dressed up to win spot prizes and to just have a bit of fun on a Saturday afternoon. Check the next image for the day’s schedule. Kids, families, friend groups and deadly enemies are all welcome!

Here’s the schedule for Saturday:

All day - Ghost hunt for kids (or adults)

3pm - Snacks and potions (drinks)

3.30pm - Winning kids stories read live & prizes awarded

4pm - Winning teen stories read live & prizes awarded

4.30pm - Costume prizes

4.45pm - Winning adult stories read live & prizes awarded

5.30pm - Hang out & chat
